Amsterdam City is the capital of the Netherlands. "Venice of the North Europe" nickname comes from the numerous channels or canals organized in a navigable network, many boat tour companies providing tourist with water itineraries through Amsterdam. The city is famous being a historical important port of North Holland, for its Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museums, the Red Light District and coffeeshops which sell cannabis and other legal drugs in the Netherlands.
